At the General Session of the peace of our Lord the Knigholden
for the City of London at the Guildhall within the said City on
Monday the thirteenth Day of September in the Nineteenth
year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King
of Great Britain Etc

Whereas the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the
parish of Saint Martin Ludgate London have exhibited their
Petition and Appeal to this Court Settingforth that by Virtue
of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals
of two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said City
and Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) dated the
Second day of September Instant William Groom< no role >
Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and their two Children to wit Sarah< no role >
aged thirteen Years and Hannah< no role > aged one Year and
upwards were removed from the parish of Saint Mary
Magdalen in Old Fish Street London to the said Parish of
Saint Martin Ludgate as the place of their last legal
Settlement and that the Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved thereby humbly appealed against the Same
Wherefore at the Request of the Petitioners It is Ordered that
the Benefit of the said Appeal be Saved unto them and that the
hearing and Determination thereof be and the Same is hereby
adjourned unto the next General Quarter Session of the peace
to be holden for the said City for the Guildhall the said on Monday the Eighteenth Day of
October next at Eight of the Clock in the Morning and that due
Notice hereof be given to the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen in Old
Fish Street.
