Who being upon Oath say and first the said Ann Elsey for herself
says that on the 26th. day of December last a black Sattin Cardinal
was feloniously Stolen out of her house in Newgate Street in the City
of London and does suspect and verily believe that a person
now present who calls herself Elizabeth Gordon< no role > feloniously stole
the some And the said Jane Bussey< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. for herself says that on the 26th.
of December last she was a Servant to the said Ann Elsey with whom
at that time the said Elizabeth Gordon< no role > , lodged, that the said Cardinal
was in the One Pair of Stairs Room and being Requested by the Said
Elizabeth Gordon< no role > to fetch her some Pins she went and on her Return
pound the said Elizabeth Gordon< no role > gone the Cardinal missing and
has never seen her since until now.
