maketh oath and saith
that on Saturday the 7th. day of March instant between the
Hours at 4 and 5 in the Afternoon the deceased, and

in the County of Middlesex
Gentleman
came together into the House of this Deponents
Masters and called for a Room, and Dept. instantly
shewed them one up one Pair of Stairsin the said
which they went to into, the said John Light Banger
going in first and the deced following him and the
deced Shut the Door and belted it as Deponent believesbolted the Door of the Room and the deced
then Dept. came away; that Dept. immediately
went into anor. Room adjoining to the said Room
where he stayed for abt. two Minutes, and then went
to the Room when the deced and the said Banger werd
and Dept. puting his Eartt to the Door listened thereto know
what they were about and Dept. heard a scuffling in
the Room as if the deced and the sd. Banger were
pushing each other amongst the Chairs and Tables, that
Dept. endeavoured to open the Door of the Room before he
put his Ear to it and find it fastned within, and then
Dept. went down Stairs and on Dept. going up Stairs
again a few Minutes afterwards he met the deced.
and Banger upon the top of the Stairs coming down
Banger coming first and the deced following close behind,
sd. Banger [..] having his Hair pulled about and the deced
holding his Handkerchief to his Face, when they both came
down Stairs and instantly left the House that then
Dept. instantly went up into the Room where they had
been and found one of the Leaves of a Table there let down
which before they went into the Room was up and Dept.
saw sevt. Drops of Blood upon the Carpet and upon the Hearth
says Banger had alone in his Hand went he leftintendthe Room
but the deced had no Stick or other Weapon as Dept. saw.
