MIDDLESEX COMMITMENTS.

Esqrs; on oath of James Coleman< no role > , one of the Overseers of the parish of
Christ-Church , Surry , with having knowingly and designedly by false
pretences obtained from him 15l. and upwards, under pretence of being
a pauper belonging to the said parish, with intent to cheat and defraud
the said parish. Dated Aug. 14, 1775 .

< no role > , otherwise Cook< no role > , on oath of John Jersey< no role > , one of the Overseers of
St. Luke, Old-street , with having knowingly and designedly by false pre-
tences obtained from him 1l.1s. under pretence of being a pauper be-
longing to the said parish, with intent to cheat and defraud the said parish.

to the said parish, with intent to defraud the said parish. Dated August
14, 1775 .

Detained on oath of Richard Nash< no role > , one of the overseers of the poor of All-
hallows, London Wall , for knowingly and designedly, by false pretences,
obtaining from him 7s. 6d. under pretence of being a pauper belonging
to the said parish, with intent to cheat and defraud the said parish. Dated
Aug. 14, 1775 .
