of St. John in the county of Hertford , and stealing a silver watch, a pair
of knee-buckles, a silver table-spoon and an half-crown piece. Dated
August 9, 1775 .

pretences obtained from him 5l. and upwards, with intent to cheat and
defraud the said parish, under pretence that he was a pauper belonging
to the said parish. Dated Aug. 14, 1775 .

Detained on oath of John I'Ony< no role > , one of the Overseers of the poor of the
parish of St. Oalve, Hart-street , with having knowingly and designedly
by false pretences, obtained from him 1l. 10s. under pretence of being
a pauper belonging to the said parish, with intent to cheat and defraud
the said parish. Dated Aug. 14, 1775 .

Detained on oath of Samuel Waller< no role > , vestry clerk of the parish of St. Botolph,
Aldersgate , with having knowingly and designedly by false pretences ob-
tained from the Overseers of the poor of the said parish 8s. under pre-
tence of being a pauper and belonging to the said parish, with intent to
cheat and defraud the said parish. Dated Aug. 14, 1775 .

one of the Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Olave, Hart-street,
in the city of London, with having knowingly and designedly by false
pretences obtained from him 25 shillings, under pretence that she was
a pauper belonging to the said parish, with intent to cheat and defraud
the said parish. Dated Aug. 14, 1775 .
