Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Mary at Whitechapel
in the County of Middx
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
City of London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quo-
rum, by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London, That John Siddall< no role > Margaret< no role > his wife and their
four Children to wit John< no role > aged Seven Years Elizabeth< no role > aged
Six Years Eleanor< no role > aged four Years and William< no role > aged
two Years did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said John Siddall< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said John Siddall< no role > Margaret< no role > his Wife
and their said four Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary at Whitechapel
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said John Siddall< no role >
with Margaret< no role > his Wife and their said Four Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary at Whitechapel
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with
this our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Given under
our Hands and Seals, this 30th Day of December
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy two
