the City of London and the rest of the Worshipful Justices of the
Peace at the General Session of the Peace now Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Bartholomew
the Great London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the City of
London (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the 28th. day of November 1770 Thomas Johnson< no role >
Isabella< no role > his Wife and their Child Hannah< no role > aged three years Were removed
from and Out of the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate London
unto the said Parish of St. Bartholomew the Great London as the place
of their last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners therefore Conceive themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant and humbly
Appeal against the Same And Pray that this Honble Court
will be pleased to Adjourn the hearing and determining
of the said Appeal until the next general Quarter Session
of the Peace to be holden for the said City and to make
Such Order in the Premisses as shall Seem Meet.
