The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poore
of the parish of Tenbridge
in the County of
Kent
Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals
of two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the City of London
and
Liberties thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the Seventeenth
day of January last
Elizabeth Barnaby< no role >
Widow
and her two Children to
with
Ann< no role >
aged Nine years and
Charles< no role >
aged two years were removed from
the Parish of Saint Ann Blackfriars
London to the said Parish of
Ten bridge the said Justices thereby adjudging that the last legal Settlement of the
said
Elizabeth Barnaby< no role >
and Ann and Charles her Children was in
the said Parish of Tenbridges
That your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved by the
said Order and Judgment of the said Justices and do humbly appeale
therefrom but for as much as your Petitioners are not yet prepared to
presents this said Appeal
Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray that
your Worships would be pleased to adjourn the hearing
of this Appeal to the next General Quarter Session
of the peace to be holden for the said City of London
and to make such Order therein as to your Worships
shall seem meet
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
