In a Case of Appeal

Appeal Sets forth That by Virtue of an order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the sd. City (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the 2d. day of Sept. 1771 Susanna Parr< no role > Singlewoman was
removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Giles without Cripplegate London to the said Parish of Allhallows as
the place of her last legal settlemt.

The Petitioners conceiving themselves Aggrieved thereby did humbly Appeal agt. the some and prayed that the having and
determining of the said Appeal might be adjourned untill this present General Quarter Session

Is the Prayer of the said Appellants

Case.

Susanna Parr< no role > Singlewoman Upwds. of 23 Years of Ago is the Daughter of one Richard Parr< no role > deceased who Served his Apprenticeship
with one Richard Penton< no role > a Barber and Perukemaker in the said Parish of Allhallows and thereby gained a Settlement for herself and
Family therein

That after he came out of his Time and Married he worked Journey ask and sometimes fa himself and removed about from one
Place to another hill he came into Savage Gardens in the Parish of Saint Olave Hart Street London But without gaining any other
Settlement

That the said Pauper often her Fathers Death went on or about the 14th. June 1761 and lived a yearly hired Servant with one
Rupell in the Precinct of the Savey in the County of Middx for one whose years at £5. a Year and then quitted her Service an account
of her being so big with Child that she was not any longer able to do her week and then she returned back to the said Parish &
Saint Olave Hart Street who on or about the 15th. day of Novr. 1766 finding the State she was in removed her by a Pass warrt.
under the Hands and Seals of the then Lord Mayor and another Alderman back to the said Precinct of the Savoy where she was
Accepted as belonging to them and they never Appealed agt. the forms
