To the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of the
City of London and the rest of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said City in their Session of the peace assembled.
The humble Petition and Appeal of Henry Darquitt< no role >

Sheweth


That on the Twelfth day of March in the Sixth year of His
present Majestys Reign Your Petitioner was Convicted Before
The Right Honourable George Nelson< no role > Esquire Mayor of the City
of London and one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the same City for buying and receiving about Fourteen Ounces
of Piedmont Silk from Elizabeth Ford< no role > intrusted to wind the same
the consent of the Employer not being first had against the Statutes

Your Petitioner conceiving himself Aggrieved
thereby Doth humbly Appeal against the said
Conviction as being illegal and Prays such Relief
in the Premises as to this Honourable Court
shall seem meet.
