relating to the Settlement of Hannah< no role > Wife of John Black< no role >

Thomas Perkins< no role > of Oldford in the County of Middlesex Malster and Coal
Merchant upon his Oath Saith that he the abovenamed Pauper having by
Order of Removal or Pass Warrant bearing date the twenty fourth day of July
last under the Hands and Seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the City of London been Removed and Conveyed from out of
the said parish of St. Sepulchrets to the said parish of St. Nicholas there delivered
as the place of the last Legal Settlement of the saidBlack and her the said Hannah< no role >
his Wife the Officers as wall as parishioners of the said Parish of St. Nicholas apprehending
themselves aggrieved by the Same Order or Pass Warrant, did give Directions for an
Appeal to be Lodged and entered against the same And Cause Notice to be given
to the Officers of the said parish of Saint Sepulchres of such Appeal And that in
pursuance thereof at the General Session of the peace holden in and for the City of
London on the fourteenth day of September last the same Appeal was Lodged
and Entred and Adjourned to the Nineteenth day of October being the then next
Session and now last past And at that Session the Same Appeal was
further Adjourned unto the next General Quarter Session of the peace holden in
and for the City of London on Tuesday the twelfth day of January now last
and Notice thereof was to be given that all parties concerned might attend
as appears to this Deponent by the Records of the aforesaid Sessions of
the City of London and as this Deponent believes And this Deponent also Saith
he is informed by Mr. William Chetham< no role > Clerk to Mr Ford Deputy Clerk of the
peace for the said City that the Order of the Adjournment of the said Appeal to the
said Session holden on the twelfth of January last was drawn up in the Office
ready to be delivered to either of the Parties concerned And Saith that I. Hall of
princes Street Rotherhith in the County of Surry Gentleman was Employed
and concerned as Agent for and on behalf of the Appellants in the above Appeal
and in Lodging and Adjourning the same to January Session last as
abovementioned And he the said Mr Hall having by his Letter dated the
thirteenth day of October last and directed to Mr Hutchinson Attorney at
Durham (who is concerned for the said parish of St. Nicholas and
transacts the Business thereof there) Acquainted him that he the said
Mr. Hall would get a further Respit of the Appeal, and that every Thing for
the Benefit of the Appellants that possibly could should be done (which
Letter this Deponent received from the said Mr. Hutchinson and is
hereunto Annexed and which Letter the said Mr. Hall hath acknowledged
to this Deponent to be the Same Letter which he sent to Mr. Hutchinson)
