in their General Sessions of the Peace at Guildhall in and for
the said City assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Peter le Poor in Broad Street London

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Hands
and Seals of Francis Cokayne< no role > Esqr . and Sir Matthew
Blakiston< no role > Knt . two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City of London one of whom is of the Quorum
bearing date the 13th. day of October 1763 Thomas
Spencer< no role > , Ann< no role > his Wife and their three Children Sophia
Margaret< no role > aged four Years Ann< no role > Aged two Years Thomas< no role >
aged five Months were removed from the Parish of Saint
James at Garlickhith London to the said Parish of Saint
Peter le Poor in Broad Street London as the Place of their
last legal Settlement by which Order your Petitioners
think themselves aggrieved

Your Petrs. therefore humbly appeal to this Honble
Court And Pray that the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint James at
Garlickhith London and all Parties concerned may
attend the said Court some day in this present Session
to hear and abide the Judgment Determination of the
said Court touching the said Appeal And that your Petrs.
may have such Relief in the Premisses as to the said Court
shall seem meet.
