The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Matthew Friday
Street in the City of London

Sheweth

That the Right Honble Willm. Beckford< no role > Esqr . Lord
Mayor and Francis Cokayne< no role > Esqr : two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace in and for the said City of London by an Order under
their respective hands and Seals bearing date the 23d. day of
December 1762 directed to the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Gregory by Saint Pauls
London Did thereby require them to remove and Convey
Matthew Pryce< no role > Patience< no role > his Wife and Elizabeth Wilmot
Pryce< no role > their Daughter aged about eight Years into the said
Parish of Saint Matthew Friday Street .

That Your Petitioners apprehend and are
advised that they are greatly aggrieved by the said Order of
Removal And

Therefore Your Petitioners humbly
Appeal against the same and pray that
this Honourable Court will make such
Order therein as shall be just & reasonable

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
