Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Matthew

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Gregory by St. Paul's
London, That Matthew Pryce< no role > Patience his< no role >
Wife and Elizabeth [..] Wilmot
Pryce
< no role > their Daughter aged about Eight
Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Matthew Pryce< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Matthew Pryce< no role > Elizabeth< no role >
his Wife and their said Daughter
to be in the said Parish of Saint Matthew Friday
Street
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Gregory
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Matthew
Pryce
< no role > with his said Wife and Daughter
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Matthew Friday Street
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 23d. Day of December One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty two
