and then ceased for a Minute or thereabouts, that
the deced them called sd. Greenstreet a Rogue for using so him
that Greenstreet then pulled a clasped Knife out of
his Pocket which Dept. saw open & gave the deced
three several Stabs therewith in the [..] Neck
under the Left Ear, that a great Deal of Blood
issued from theWouldWoundes: that Greenstreet then
quited the deced's House & Dept. saw him no more
till Yesterday; that Dept. applied her Right hand to the
Wounds of the deced to stop the Bleed& sd. Green [..]
immediately on the wounds being given to the deced [..]
[..] during which time the sd. Greenstreet ran the
Knife into Depts. hand & Wounded him very much
that thereupon several of the Neighbour came in
and particular Mr. George Vaux< no role > a Surgeon [..] a Servt.
of Mr. Mackin's Apethocary, & Mr. Benjamin Cowell< no role >
Surgeon who dressed the deced's Wounds & did as Dept
believes what was proper or the occasion the deced
having bur [..] first carried up to his Lodging Room: that
about 12 of the Clock the same Evening Dept. saw the
deced lying [..] in his Bed but could not speak, & about
an Hour afterwards Dept. saw him there dead: Says
he believes the Stab given this Dept. was designed for
the deceased says that the sd. Greenstreet Damned his
soul old (meaning the deads Soul) at every [..] Stab he gave to the deced

William Read< no role > Apprentice to the deced at the time of
his Death maketh Oath and saith that on Tuesday Evening
last the sd. Robt. Greenstreet< no role > came home to the deced's House
much in Liquor & immediately went up stairs [..]
and returning again came into the Kitchen & desired
Dept. to let him out at the Street Door; that sd. Greenstreet
opened the Street Door himself & went out, but witht. shuting
the Door directly returned & went into the little Room
behind the shop where the deced then was: that sd. Greenstreet
inquired of the deced if any body had asked after him, to wch the deced
made answer that nobody had asked for him; that after some
words had passed between Greenstreet & the deced Greenstreet told
the deced there was 50s due to him & insisted on his paying it
to him, to wch. the deced sayed he would not him till his
Quarter was up that Greenstreet sayed he would not go out
of the Room with out it on wch. Deced threatened to have a
Constable for him unlessthehe left the Room & deced or dued
