Dept. to fetch a Constable but afterwards sayed he
would get one himself: that Greenstreet stood at
the Door of the Room & refused to let any body pass:
that the deced & touch Greenstreet two or three times
in the Face with his open hand with some force
[..] Joseph Pearce< no role > the Maid Servt. standing in the Room
between him and the deced: that Greenstreet StrawKnocked
her [..] against a Chair there on the Floor &
after knocked the deceased [..] down with Fist & after he
was downstruck him two or three ran out for
Help & returning immediately saw the sd. Greenstreet
with [..] a Clapsed Kinpe open [..] in his hand
therewith giving the deceased three or four stabbs
on the left side of his Neck: that Greenstreet
immediately ran out of the House & Dept. saw him
no more till Yesterday Says the sd. Greenstreet at
every stable he gave the deced taken up & put on a chair Jas.
Richards Depts. Fellow Apprentice put his hands to the
deceds wounds in Order to stop the Blood. That the
deced immediately after having reced the Wounds cryed
out oh that Rogues meaning as Dept. believe as the sd.
Greenstreet .

Sarah Pearce< no role > Servt . to the deced at the time of his death
maketh Oath & saith that on Tuesday Evening last the said
Robt. Greenstreet< no role > came house to the deced's House & went up
three pair of Stairs to his Lodging Room there; that he
presently afterwards came down Stairs again & went out
at the Street Door, but returned again instantly & entred
the little Room at the End of the Shop where the deced then
was: that the sd. Greenstreet then advanced towards the deced
holding his Fist at him, call in the deced old Son of Bitch and
demanding of him 50s which was due to him from the deced
for Wages : that the deced refused to pay till his Quarter was
up which would be at Christmas & then the deced sayed he
would pay him: says before Greenstreet the deced
the saw the deced give him a Pat ortive in the Face with
his open hand & believes it was only with a design to keep
Greenstreet from him that he struch Dept. pushed her down
over a Chair on wch she went up Stairs that soon afterwards
Dept. went down stairs again and saw Deced lying on the Floor
wallowing in his Blood, endeavouring to speech, [..] bringing
