London Gentleman Maketh Oath and Saith That He this Deponent Did on the
Twenty fifth Day of This Instant April Serve the above Defendants with a Notice
Purporting that the Court of Goal Delivery of Newgate to be Holden for the City
of London at Justice Hall in the Old Baily would be moved on Thursday
Morning the Twenty Sixth Instant or as soon after as Council could be heard
That the respective Recognizances by the said Defendants entered into before
the Lord Mayor for their Several Appearance at this Sessions may be
respited till next Sessions (the prosecutors not being yet prepared to prosecutor)
by personally delivering to the said William Smithergill< no role > a Copy of the said notice
and by delivering two Several Copies of the said Notice at the respective Houses
or Places of abode of the said David Robinson< no role > and Abraham Brookes< no role > to
each of their Wives and by delivering a Copy of the said Notice at the House
of John Powell< no role > who is Bail for the above named Christopher Walker< no role > and
leaving the Same with the said John Powell< no role > 's Sister and by personally
Serving Richard May< no role > the Bail for the above named Thomas Hunt< no role > And
This Deponent Saith That the Reason of his Delivering the Copies of the said
notice at the said John Powell< no role > 's and to the said Richard May< no role > , Was, because
after the most diligent Enquiry he this Deponent could not find out the
places of abode of the said Christopher Walker< no role > and Thomas Hunt< no role >
