The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Nicholas Deptford in the County of Kent .

Sheweth

Unto this Honble Court That by Warrant or Order of Removal
under the hands & Seals of Sir Charles Asgill< no role > Knight and
Sir Robert Ladbrooke< no role > Knight bearing Date the Fourteenth
day of March last William Melton< no role > and Mary< no role > his Wife
were Removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchres
London to the said Parish of Saint Nicholas Deptford
in the County of Kent as the Place of their last Legal
Settlement by which We think our Selves Aggrieved,
and Appeal to this Court against the said Order.

We therefore your Petitioners Pray this Honble
Court will be pleased to Grant an Order
for all Parties to Attend this Court in Order
to hearing the Complaint & Defence of
both Parties by Evidence and to make such
further order thereon as the Court shall
think proper

And your Peticoners shall ever pray Etc
