Sd. Daby Readily Confessed that he had Stolen the said
Silver from the Sd. Willm. Cafe by taking it out of the
Ashes in the Sd. Cafe's Shop and this Informt. went to
the Sd. Daby's Lodging and in his Box found another
Parcel of Malted Silver which added to the before
mentioned Makes in the whole about twelve Ounces
And the Sd. Willm. Cafe for himself saith that the Sd.
Daby lived a Servant with the Informt. about two Week
and departed from this Informt. Service about a
fortnight ago And this Informt. Saith that on Wednesday
last the Said Daby was brought in Custody to this
Informts. House when the Said Daby Confessed freely
to this Informt. that he had Stolen the Sd. Silver from
this Informt. Which he the sd Daby had Opportunity
to do as the Sd. Daby was intrusted in this Informts.
Shop a part of the sd. Daby's business being to Clean
the furnaces where this Informt. Melts his Silver.
