Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the
County of Middx and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate
London, That Benjamin Stanley< no role > Esther< no role > his Wife and his two
Children Mary< no role > aged Thirteen years by a former Wife and
Benjamin< no role > aged a Nine Months by the said Esther are

lately came to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Esther as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Benjamin Stanley< no role > Esther his Wife
and his said Two Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell
and that thitherto the said Benjamin Stanley< no role > Esther his Wife
and his said two Children ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church Wardens and Oversers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph Aldersgate
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Benjamin Stanley< no role >
Esther< no role > his Wife and his said two Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint James at Clerkenwell
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this Seventh Day of May One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Seven
