Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Matthew at Bednal Green in
the County of Middx. and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Botolph
London, That Ann Revel< no role > Wife of Paul Revel< no role > who is
a Sailor in his Majesty's Service and their three Children
John< no role > aged five Years Ann< no role > aged three Years and Thomas< no role >
aged Two Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of Mary Revel< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Ann Revel< no role > and her three Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Matthew
and that thither to they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Botolph
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Ann Revel< no role >
and her three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Matthew
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor therefore to [..] by required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 19th Day of Augst One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Six .
