attend & give Evidence for the said now Defendant
touching his Innocence of the matters charged on
him & to his Character at the said expected Trial
& likewise hath Subpena'd & procured several other
Witnesses who live in & about the City of London
to
attend the said expected Trial And this Deponent
saith that all the said Witnesses are material
witnesses for the said now Defendant on the said
intended Trail as this Deponent hath been informed
& verily believes & saith that the same Witnesses are
most of them now attending this present Session
of Oyer & Terminer & Goal delivery of Newgate
holden at this place in order to give their respective
Evidence touching the premises on behalf of the
said Defendant Arrowsmith And lastly this Deport
saith that he hath likewise been informed & verity
Believes that the said Defendant hath exhibited
his prayer & petition to this honourable Court the
first day of this present Session to be bailed tryed
or discharged pursuant to the Act of Parliament
in such case made & provided.
