Stephen Todd< no role > of Thomas Street< no role > in the Parish of St. Mary at Hill London
Stepseller maketh Oath and Saith that in the night time of the first of
Ma [..] past the House of this Deponent and Partner was broke open and
a very [..] quantity of Goods and New Wearing Apparell to the value of
about [..] hundred and forty Pounds were Stolen and Carryed away
whereupon this Deponent [..] dvertized the said Burglary and Robbery and
a Reward Sir apprehen [..]
concerned therein And Deponent further saith that having got some
intelligence that Part of the said Stolen Goods were in the Custody of the
Defendants, he this Deponent on the twenty fifth of March last past got
a Warrant to Search House or Lodgings of the Defendants and found
therein Three Pair of Breeches and One Waistcoat And also that they had
Sold to One Mr. Sullivan One other Waistcoat and One Pair of Breeches,
And to One Mr. Andrews One Coat, Two Waistcoats and One pair of
Breeches , And also One Coat and One Waistcoat which the Defendents had
agreed to Sill to One Mr. Williamson [..] And this Deponent
further saith that al the said Cloths [..] foreman [..] were part of the
Goods Stolen as aforesaid, And further that he Apprehends and believers
that there were divers other Persons Concerned in the said Barglary
and Robbery besides the Defendants Therefore on Friday last past this
Deponent Applied to One of his Majestys Principal Secretary of State
who his Majestys most Gracious Pardon to any Person who stall Dispose
who Committed the said Robbery & Binglary, and Obterned and caused the
same to be Published in the London Gazette the next Day by which
mean this Deponent Apprehended and believes he shall be able to
come at a Discovery of more Persons who were concerned in the said
Burglary and Robbery [..] Stronger Proof again 1st Defendants
between this and the [..]
