Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Sepulchres

of John Metcalf< no role >
who is run away
her and their two Children Elizabeth< no role >
aged Six Years & Will [..]
aged three Years are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind our
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the said Elizabeth Metcalf< no role >
and other Circumstances that the
last legal Settlement of the said John Metcalf< no role >
in in that
said Parish of Saint Clement Danes
And no other subsequent settlement appearing unto Us We the
said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
settlement of the said Elizabeth Metcalf< no role >
and her two
Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes
And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent
These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
the said Parish of Saint Sepulchres

forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
Elizabeth Metcalf< no role >
and her two Children
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
Saint Clement Danes
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby require
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and seals this 10thday of Octr
one Thousand Seven hundred and Forty Six
