The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Overseers of the
Poor of the Liberty of the Fields in the County of Middx.

Sheweth

That by an Order under the Handsof theand Seals of the Rt.
Honrble Wm Benn< no role > Esqr Lord Mayor and Thomas Rawlinson< no role > Esqr
two of his Majties. Justices of the Peace for the City of London and
libertys thereof (one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
tenth day of October [..] Instant Elizabeth Metcalf< no role > wife
of John Metcalf< no role > who is run away from her and their Two
Children Elizabeth< no role > Aged Six years & William< no role > Aged three
Years were removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchres
London to the Liberty of the Rolls in the County of Middx
as the Places of their last legal Settlemt. whereby your
Petrs. conceive themselves Aggrieved and against the
said Order do Appeal

Your Petrs. therefore humbly pray that the
Benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto them
and that the hearing and determining thereof may
be adjourned to the next General Quarter
Session of the Peace to be held for the said City
