Take notice that I intend personally to appear at the next general Quarter Sessions
of the peace to be holden for the City of London
at the Guildhall
of the said City on
Monday the 30th. day of June instant at 10 of the Clock in the forenoon and that at the
same time I also intend to move the Court there that the Order made on the 15th.
day of January last in this Cause may be discharged and that a small fine may be set
upon me (For that Edward Bond< no role >
who gave Evidence on the Tryal of this Cause
against me had brought an Action against William Elgar< no role >
& Francis Elgar on Account
of the Quarrell for which this prosecution was Carried on and had Consented to
stay all proceedings on such Action on the Terms mentioned in such Order
of Court so made on the said Fifteenth day of January but afterwards did proceed in
such Action against the said William Elgar< no role >
and Francis Elgar contrary to the
intent and meaning of the said Order of Court as this defendant Conceives) and
since the making thereof hath put the said William and Francis Elgar< no role >
to a
very great Expence on that Account Dated the 28th. day of June 1746
