Saith That the Defendant
George Watton< no role >
is now and hath been for severall Months past at Sea in
his Majesties Service in the Capacity of a Pilott on Board the
Salamander Man of Warr Cruising in the Downes against the
French
and there is Detained in his Duty as Pilott (as she this
Deponent is Informed and believes to be true) and this Deponent
further saith that by means of his being Detained at sea in manner
aforesaid the said Defendant is not Capable of Appearing and
attending at this present Session of the peace now holden for the City
of London
to try his Traverses upon the said Indictments That this
Deponent is Informed and believes it to be true That at the next
Session of the peace to be held for the said City of London
the said
Defendant will be at Liberty to attend the said last mentioned
Session to Try his said Traverses upon the said Indictments And
This Deponent
