Do Jointly Make oath and say that at the Last Assizes
held at Kingston upon Thames in and for the County of Surry
John Banfeild< no role > then and Now a prisoner in Wood Street
Compter London was Removed by Virtue of a Writt of Habe [..]
Corpus to testify and Give Evidence on the behalf of our
Sovereign Lord the King against the said Defendent John
Farmer< no role > to the then Grand Inquest at the said Assizes on
the finding of the three Severall bills of Indictment
Mentioned in the Severall Certificated hereunto Annexed
and the said [..] Dept. Say that the said Severall bills
of Indictments Could not have been found as aforesaid agt.
the said Defendent without the benefit of the Testimony of
the said John Banfeild< no role > [..] and these Depts. further Say
that the said Deft. John Farmer< no role > for Some time last past
hath been and Now is a prisoner in the Custody of the
Marshall of the Kings Bench prison In Southwark as
these Depts. one Informed and Verily beleive to be true
and that the said Deft. is to be tried on the said Severall
Indictments at the Next Ensuing Assise to be holden in and
for the said County of Surry and these Depts. Say that the
Said John Bangfeild< no role > is a Materiall Witness for [..] our said
Lord the King against the said Deft. John Farmer< no role > upon the
said Indictments and that without the benefitt of the
Testmony of the said John Banfeild< no role > at the said tryalls the
said Deft. John Farmer< no role > Cannot as these Depts. and Advised
and beleive be Convicted upon the said Indictments or
Either of them and these Depts. further Say that they
