At the General Quarter session of the Peace held sd
the City of London at the Guildhall within the said
City on Monday the 14th. day of October 1745 in the 19th.
Year of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the
second King at Great Britain Etc before Sr. Henry
Marshall< no role > Knt . Mayor of the City of London Sr. Simon
Urlin< no role > Knt Recorder of the sd. City Sr. Robt. Willimott< no role >
Knt . Thos. Winterbottom< no role > Esqr . Aldermen of the said City
and others their Fellows Justices assigned to keep
the Peace of our said Lord the King withing the said City
& also to hear & determine divers Belonies Trespasses
and other Misdeeds committed withing the same City

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Andrew Undershaft London Exhibited their humble Petition &
Appeal at this General Quarter Session of the Peace setting forth
that by Virtue of an Order of Pass Warrt. under th Hands & Seals
of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City of London
(one being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Nineteenth day
of Septr. 1745. whereby Thomas Thornton< no role > Keturah < no role > his wife & their
two Children Ann< no role > aged three Years & Thomas < no role > aged Six Months
were removed seem the Parish of St. Catherine Coleman London
to the Sd. Parish of St. Andrew Undershaft alledging the sd. Parish
of St. Andrew Undershaft to be the Place of their last Legal
Settlement And that the said Petrs. conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the sd Warrt. & Judgmet. of the said two Justices do the
therefore Appeal therefrom Whereupon at the request of
the said Petrs. it is Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the sd
Appeal be saved unto them and that the Hearing & Determing
thereof be and the same is hereby Adjourned until the
next General Quarter session of the Peace to be held for
the City of Lonndon ontheday of January
now next ensueing And the same is by this Court Adjourned
Accordingly.
