Lord Mayor Sr. Simon Urlin< no role > Knt . Recorder and the rest
of his Majestys Justices of the peace for the City of London
and Libertys thereof in their General Quarter Sessions
of the Peace Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of Robert Herne< no role >
of the parish of Trinity Minories in the Liberty
of the Tower of London.

Sheweth


That by an Order Dated the 20th: day of March last under the Hands of the said
Sr. Robert Westley< no role > and Sr . Joseph Hankey< no role > Knts . two of
his Majesties Justices of the peace for the City of London and
Liberties thereof (whereof one is of the Quorum) and both
said to reside next unto the Limmitts where the parish
Church of the parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate
Standeth Your Petitioner is Adjudged the Reputed father
of a Male Bastard Child said to be Born on the Body of
Sarah Harper< no role > Singlewoman on or about the Twenty Sixth
day of February last in the said parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate.

And Your Petitioner is therein Ordered to pay to
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish the Sume of Four pounds One shilling and Six
Pence of lawfull Money of Great Britain for and
towards the Maintenance of the said Child And likewise
Ordered to pay on Tuesday in every Week from and after
the Date thereof so long as the said Child should be
Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldgate unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
poor there the sume of Two Shillings and Six
pence.
