yt. Nicholls his in Newgate as well on ye sd. Verdict as ye Present Indictmt.

This last Witness was convicted of Felony but received a Bailable Warrant to plea'd his
Majesty's next Pardon Far ye Poor Prisoners of Newgate Which Pardon passing but unluckly not
passed

If the Deft Should produce ye Record of Humble's Conviccon in Order to destroy her Competency We
must rest it upon the two first Witnesses who absolutely prove the first Count and so farr bring ye 2d.

Humble and yt. Humble did accordingly bring them

Nicholls tho' a Woman of ye most Notorious Wicked Life and Character has found means to
Ingratiate herself with the Methodists Who espouse her Cause & possibly will attempt out of a
Religious tho' mistaken Zeal to give her a good Character.
