first day of August next ensuing to Answer to our said Lord the King concerning a certain
Felony whereof he stands Indicted And if the said Sheriff cannot find the said John Tennant< no role >
in his Bailiwick that then he cause Proclamation Publickly to be made in his open County
Court and at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be holden for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid and at the Door of the Church of the Parish where he is an Inhabitant according
to the form of the Statute in such Case made and Provided that he be before the said Justices
of our said Lord the King at the said General Sessions of the peace of our said Lord the
King to be holden for the County of Middx aforesaid next after the said first day of
August next ensuing to Answer our said Lord the King concerning the Premisses At
Which said next General Sessions of the Peace of our said Lord the [..] Holden [..]
County of Middx aforesaid next after the said first day of August [..] At the General
Sessions of the Peace of our said Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks
Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid on Thursday the first day of September
the Seventeenth year of the Reign of our said now Lord the King before Thomas Lane< no role >
Esquire George Lord< no role > Carpenter of the Kingdom of Ireland Sir Thomas Reynell< no role > Bronet
James Clitherow< no role > Esquire and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the peace in the County of Middlesex aforesaid and also to hear and
Determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same
County William Benn< no role > Esquire and Charles Egleton< no role > Esquire Sheriff of the County of Middx
aforesaid return the aforesaid Writ of our said Lord the King of Exigifacias thees
Andorsed At my County Court of Middlesex held for the same County at the Sign [..]
Elephant and Castle in the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County afo [..]
the Seventeenth day of March in the year within written the within named
a first time called and did not Appears And at my County Court held for the [..]
[..] of the Elephant and Castle aforesaid on the fourteenth day of April in the year
aforesaid the said John was a Second time called and did not Appear And at my County
Court held for the County aforesaid at the Sign of the Elephant and Castle aforesaid on the
twelfth day of May in the year aforesaid the said John was a third time called and did
not Appear And at my County Court hold for the County aforesaid at the Sign of the Elephant
And Castle aforesaid on the Ninth day of June in the year aforesaid the said John was a
fourth time called and did not Appear And at my County Court held for the County aforesaid
at the Sign of the Elephant and Castle aforesaid on the Seventh day of July in the Seventeenth
Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc the
said John was a fifth time called and did not Appear Therefore by the Judgement of John
King Esqr . and Robert Wright< no role > Esqr . Coroners of our Sovereign Lord the King for the County
aforesaid the said John Tennant< no role > is Oatlawed The Answer of William Benn< no role > Esqr . and
Charles Egleton< no role > Esqr . Sheriff And at the same General Sessions of the Peace of our
said Lord the King last mentioned so as aforesaid holden for the County of Middx
aforesaid William Benn< no role > Esquire and Charles Egleton< no role > Esquire Sheriff of the County of
Middx aforesaid return the aforesaid Writ of our said Lord the King of Proclamation
this Indorsed By Virtue of the within Writ to me directed I caused the within named
John to be Proclaimed three several days according to the Effect of the within mentioned
Writ as it is within Commanded me The Answer of William Benn< no role > Esqr . and Charles
