maketh Oath and Saith that he was on Wednesday
last Served with a Subpena Tickett (he Original Subpena thereof
being hereunto Annext as this Dept. is Informed) to attend and accordingly this Dept. did
Attend this day on this Honble Court to give Evidence on the behalf
of the Deft. in this Cause, and this Dept. further saith that had
he been Examined her could have given very material Evidence
on their behalfs, and this Dept further saith that during the
time of such his Attendance this day in Order to give such Evidence,
he was taken into Custody, in the Sessions house Yard, on a
Warrant Obtained at the instance of the Parish Officers
of Enfield
, and is now detained in Custody theron,
Notwithstanding this Dept: informed the Officer who took
him into Custody, that he Attended on a Subpena to give
Evidence in this Cause, for the Defts. And this Dept. further
Saith that on the Eighteenth day of August last he was
Obliged to Enter into Recognizance at the instance of the
Parish of Enfield
to appear ar this present Sessions
of Oyer and Terminer holden for the City of London
and County of Middx
