in the City of London andthe Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Chisslehurst in the County of Kent

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St Catherine
[..]
Crawley and Mary< no role > his Wife and [..] his Daur.
Elizabeth< no role > aged thirteen Years or thereabouts
are very poor and have
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath ofthesd
Joseph Crawley< no role > that about twenty Yeares ago he hired himself as
a Yearly Servant to Rowland Tryon< no role > Esqr . wth. whom he lived as
such in the parish of Chisslehurst in the County of Kent for the space
of two Yeares & Upwards before he Married at ye Yearly wages of Six pounds & ten Shillings
And no other subsequent Settlement appearing unto the We the
said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Joseph Crawley< no role > Mary< no role > his wife &theirhis
Daughter Elizabeth
to be in the said Parish of Chisslehurst in the County of
KentAnd that thither to they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St Catherine Coleman in the City
of London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said Joseph
Crawley Mary his Wife & [..] Daughter Elizabeth
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of Chisslehurst
in the County of Kent .
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Fifteenth day of March
one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty four
