To the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Andrew by the Wardrobe London, and to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of Saint Luke in the
County of Middlesex respectively.

Whereas Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof one of them of the (Quorum
unus) by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Andrew by the Wardrobe
London, That Elizabeth< no role > the wife of Jonathan Millington< no role >
Jonathan< no role > their Six aged Eight years James Millington< no role > aged
five Years & Christian Millington< no role > aged two years their other
two Children have Intended themselves into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and are likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of their Great Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of Elizabeth Millington< no role >
that for a than said husband did about twenty three
years ago live with James Taylor< no role > in the parish of Saint
Luke in the County of Middlesex as And Apprentice
bound by Indenture by the Space of four years and
hath
not obtain any subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
Lad legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Millington< no role >
Jonathan her said husband Jonathan James & Christian their three Childredn to be
in the said Parish of Saint Luke in the County of
Middlesex aforesaid and that thirtherto
they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire you to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Millinton< no role >
Jonathan James and Christian her then Children
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Andrew by
the Wardrobe in the City London, to the said Parish of
Saint Lukes in the County of Middlesex
and them leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof fail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 21st Day of January Anno
Domini
