She found a buckle Sett with Severall Diamonds as She
was goeing thro Aldersgate
between two & three months
agoe, there being then a Silk girdle to it, & a being moone
light where She found it, & She was then a Servant to Mr

Pattison was then goeing [..] a little before her to an
acquaintance in Aldersgate Street

& her [..] Said Mistress & She went thither, but She did
not Sell her Mistress that She had found ye buckle nor did
her Mistress complain She had lost it till about two or
three dayes after when She did complain of Such a loss; That
She this Examinant [..] upon the buckle before She found it & thereby as
Soe beleives she crackt ye buckle, & She afterwards broke
ye buckle in two peeces, & Sold one peece of the buckle
with Several Stones in at to a Silver Saith at his they in
Barbicane
for about eighteen Shillings & Six pence
She can't tell how many Stones were in that peece but there
were all that were Sett in it Save one stone missing at
one coroner whichwasStone was broken in two peeces
& She kept the peeces one of which She Sell with the said
broken peece of the buckle afterwhich She kept & has Since
lost them and alsoe two of the rest of the Stones [..] She having
with afork pubt nine Stones out of the other part of the
broken buckle & throwne that broken part downe the
house of Office & Sayes that the Seven Stones which [..]
Tuesday lastlast weeke She offered [..] to the Christopher
Nicholls of Barbican are the Stones the [..] out of the buckle & Sayes She never Acquainted her Master
or Mistress of finding or having the sd buckle till after She
was Stopt by Mr Nicholls & comitted to prison
