of the peace for the said Citty at their Genall Quarter
Sessions now Assembled

The humble peticon and Appeale of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of St James
in Dukes place London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order bearing Date the
Six and Twentieth day of May last under the hands & Seales
of the said Sr George Mertins and Sr. Randolph Knipe< no role > Knights
Two of his Maties Justices of the peace in and for the said
Citty (Quor unus) Edward Simmonds< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife and three
Children Edward< no role > aged about seaven years Mary< no role > about three
years and William< no role > about Five months were removed from
the parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate to the
said parish of Saint James in Dukes place as the place of
their last legall Setlement By means of which said Order
your petticoners conceive themselves to be Agreived and humbly
Appeale therefrom

Your Peticoners therefore pray that your
this Court will order the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of Saint
BishoppsBottolph wth: out Bishopsgate and
all other persons concernd to attend this
Honrble Court and to abide by & Stand to
the determinacon thereof touching the
maters herein conteined

And yor Petr shall ever pray Etc.
