To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Botolph Bishopsgate London and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Margarett Lothbury

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majty's Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Quorn Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Botolph Bishopsgate abovesaid That Anne Oulton< no role >
Widow hath
lately come into the
said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented is likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
the said Anne Oulton that she about Two years agoe
was an Inhabitant and rented Fourteen Pounds
a year for the space of One Whole year in
Taken house yard in the Parish of St. Margarett
Lothbury abovesaid and us other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St. Margt. Lothbury to be the place of her last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St. Botolph Bishopsgate forthwith to remove and convey
the said Anne Oulton
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St. Margaret
Lothbury and her deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for the according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 9th day of
Aprill Anno Dui 1725 .
