The Humble Peticon and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of ye Poor of ye Parish of St. Michael at Quern in
London

That by order under the Hands and Seals of Sr George
Merttins< no role > Knt . Lord Mayor of this Honble City of London
and Sr John Fryar< no role > Barrt : two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for ye said City of London (Quorum Unus) bearing
date the tenth Day of December, Anno Dni 1724 Katherine< no role >
ye widdow of Samuell Stonehall< no role > decesd wth five children Mary< no role >
aged about eight Years, Sarah< no role > about Six Years, Samuell< no role >
about three Years, Francis< no role > abt two Years and Henchman< no role >
about nine Months were removed and conveyed from the
the Parish of St. Andrew Wardrobe , to ye sd: Parish of St
Michael at Quern in London as the last Legall place of
their Settlement

Your Petitioners there fore Humbly
think themselves aggrived and appeal
against ye Order of the said Justices and
pray releif in the Prmisses of this Honble
Court.
