The humble Petition of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Clemt. Danes
in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by an Ordr. under. the hands & seales of Sr Gerard Conyers< no role > & Sr
Geo: Merttins< no role > two of his Matyes Justices of the peace for the Citty of
London dated the third day of January instant Mary Stokes< no role > the wife
of John Stokes< no role > & Mary< no role > their Daughter were removed from the pish
of St. Buttolph without Aldgate London to the pish of St. Clemt. Danes
as the place of their last legall settlemt.

That yr Petrs. thinke themselves aggreived by the Ordr. of the sd. two
Justices & therefore due humbly appeal from the same to the Judgmt. of
this honble Etc.

Yor. Petrs. therefore most humbly pray yor.
Worpps will be pleased to appoint ashort tyme
for the hearing & determinacon of the sd. Appeale
