hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majty's Justices of
the peace
for the City of London

Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of
St Botolph without Bishopsgate

lately come into the
said Parish endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true. and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of the
said Jane Marlis That her husband

rented and
dwelt in a house of Ten pounds & Anum in the parish of
Wansworth
in the County of Surry
and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since. We do also adjudge the
said parish of Wansworth
to be the place of their last
legal Settlement
These are therefore in his Majesty's name to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of St Botolph wthout Bishopsgate
forthwith to remove and convey
the said Jane Marlis< no role >
with Richard< no role >
her son
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of Wansworth
and them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 6th: day of
