Whereas Complaint was this Day made unto us Two of
His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this City & the Liberties
thereof (Quour Unus) by you the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Alhallows the Less London That one Mary
Walker
< no role > the Wife of William Walker< no role > a Salour is lately come into
your Said Parish not having obtained any legall Settlement there and
is likely to become Chargeable thereto unless timely prevented (by
reason of her Poverty She being bigg with Child & near her Travill)
which Complaint we adjudge to be true, And for as much as it appears
unto us by the Oath of Phyllis Nelson< no role > in St George Alley in Thames
Street the Mother in Law of the said Mary Walker< no role > That about four
years ago she the said Mary was a yearly hired servant with one
Mr. Armstrong a Victualler then in Pauls Alley in Fenchurch Street
in the Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch London with whom She
lived for the Space of one whole year and upwards And has
not by any means what soever obtained any other legall
Settlement Since, We do therefore adjudge the last legall
Settlement of the said Mary Walker< no role > to be in the said Parish of St.
Dionis Backchurch London And that thither to She ought by Law
to be Sent

These are therefore in His Majtys Name to require you
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Alhallows the Less London forth with to remove and convey the said
Mary Walker< no role > from and out of your said Parish [..]
to the Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch London and her Deliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there or one
of them who are hereby required to receive and provide for
her according to Law Hereof faile not And this Shall be to
you and every of you a Sufficient Warrant Given under our
hands and Seales this Eighth Day of January Anno Din
1718
