To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the respective Parishes of St. Giles without Cripplegate
London and St. Vedast als Foster London.

Complaint being this day made unto us two of His Maties. Justices of
the Peace for this Citie and the libties thereof (Quor unus) by You
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the parish of St. Giles
without Cripplegate London That one Anne Gudgeon< no role > Spinster is lately
come into your said Parish not having obtained any legall settlemt.
there and is likely to become chargeable thereto unless timely prevented
And for a smith as it appeares unto us by the oath of the said Anne
Gudgeon That about nine yeares agoe she lived an hired yearly
servant by the space of two yeares and upwards with one Mr. Moore
a Ringmaker in Star Court in Cheapsie in the parish of St. Vedast
als Foster London and hath not by any meanes obtained any subsequent
settlemt. We the said Justices are therefore of opinion and doe adjudge
the said Anne Gudgeon< no role > to be last legall settled in the said Parish
of St. Vedast als Foster London and thit hereto she ought by Law to be
sent.

These are therefore in His Maties name to require You forthwith to
remove and convey the said Anne Gudgeon< no role > from and out of your
said Parish of St.Vedast ale Foster London Giles without Cripplegate
London to the said Parish of St. Vedast als Foster ondon and her leave
with the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore there or one of them
who are hereby required to receive and provide for her according to Law
Hereof faile not And this shall be your Warrt. Given under our hands and
seales the ninth day of November 1716 .
