The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor of the parish of St. Olaves Hartstreet London

Sheweth

That one Richard Jennings< no role > an Infant aged about four years by Virtue of a Warrant
under the hands and Seals of two of her Maties Justices of the peace within this City (one
King of the Quorn) bearing Date the Thirteenth Day of May last past was removed from the
parish of St. Buttolph without Aldgate unto the said parish of St Olaves Hartstreet London
alleadging the said place to be the place of the last legall Settlement of the said Richard
Jennings< no role >

That your petitioners doubt not but to prove that the said Richard Jennings< no role >
never had any legal settlement in the said parish of St. Olaves Hartstreet whereby
your petitioners conceive themselves aggreived by the said Warrant and Judgment
of the said two Justices and do humbly Appeal to your Honr Worpps therefrom

Your Petitioners most humbly pray your Honr and
Worpps will be pleased to hear them in the prmisses
and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the said parish of St. Buttolph without Aldgate may appear
before you an hear and abide the determination of your
Honr and Wopps touching this appeal
