Whereas it appears unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto sett Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for the said
of London and Libties thereof (Quor unus) upon the complaint of
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St
Giles without Cripplegate London, That me Mary Scovell< no role > widdow of
Benjamin Scovell< no role > her late husband deced is come lately into the said
Parish with Anne Scovell< no role > aged about six years daughter of the said
Benjamin edeavouring to settle there without giving notice in
writing to the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore or to
any of them of the house of her abode & the number of her Family
as by Law required And it appearing unto us that they are likely [..]
become chargeable to the said Parish And whereas it appears unto
us the said Justices upon the Oath of one Anne Hill< no role > on the oath of the settlement That the said
Benjamin Scovell< no role > lived a hired Servant by the year for above on
year together with one Mr. Darfire Oath Dugvill & ptices Sugar Bakers in the Parish
of All Hallows the Less London at six pounds PAnm wages about
Fifteen years agoe, and it not appearing unto us that either the said
Benjamin Scovell< no role > in his life time or the said Mary Since his decease
hath obtained any other legall settlement nor that the said Anne
hath ever had any other settlement then that of her said Father
Wee the said Justices doe therefore deem & adjudge the sd. Parish
of All Hallows the Less to be the place of last legall settlemt. of
the said Mary & Anne in right of him the sd Benjamin Scovell< no role >
& whether by Law they ought now to be sent.

These are therefore in her Maties name stirctly to charged
and require you the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore
the said Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate London some or or
of you forthwith on sight hereof To remove & Convey the bodies
the said Mary Scovell< no role > & Anne Scovell< no role > out of yor. said Parish [..]
the said Parish of All Hallows the Less , and them deliver unto
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore there, or to some
of them who are hereby required them to receive and pvide for
(as their necessities shall required) until they shall be of them
discharged by due order of Law, and for see doeing this shall
yor. Warrant, And hereof faile not at yor, perills Given and
our Hands and Seals this Third Day of March Ano Dui
