Whereas it appears unto us whose Hands and Seales are
hereunto sett Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for this
City and Libties thereof (Quor unns) upon the complaint of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Parish of St.
Giles without Cripplegate within the limits aforesd. That one
Rose Webb< no role > (widdow of John Webb< no role > her late husband deced) is come
lately into the said Parish with Elizabeth< no role > her female Bastard
Child endeavouring to settle there without giveing notice in
writing to the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the poore
or to any of them of the house of her abode and the number
of her Family in the said Parish as by Law required, and
it appears unto us the said Justices That by reason of the
poverty of the said Rose Webb she & her said female Bastard
Child are likely to become chargeable to the said Parish
unless due care be taken to prvent the same; And whereas
it alsoe appears unto us the said Justices, upon the oath
of the said Rose Webb, That her said late husband served
as an Apprentice with one James Hopkins< no role > a Waterman in
the Parish of St. Saviour in Southwark in the County of
Surrey , and that neither the Sd late husband John Webb< no role > in
his lifetime nor [..] the said Rose Webb since his decease
hath obtained any other legall settlemt. Since and it alsoe
appearing unto us the Sd Justices upon the oath of the said
Rose Webb that the said Elizabeth her female Bastard
Child was borne of her body in the said Parish of St.
Saviour in Southwark in the County of Surrey , wee the
Sd Justices doe therefore deem [..] adjudge the said Rose
Webb and her Sd. female Bastard Child to be last legally
Settled in the said Parish of St. Saviour in Southwark
in the County of Surrey and Whither by Law they ought
to be sent.

These are therefore in her Maties name shirtly to charge
& require you the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the said Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate some or
one of your forthwith on sight hereof, To remove and convey
the bodys of the Sd. Rose Webb< no role > & her Sd. female Bastard
Child out of yor. said Parish unto the said Parish of St.
Saviour in Southwark in the County of Surrey and
them deliver unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of
the poore there or to some of them who are hereby required
them to receive and pvide for (as their necessaries that
require) until they shall be of them discharge by due order
of Law, and for see doeing this shall be yor. warrant, and
hereof faile not at yor. [..] Given under our Hands & Seales
this 12th. day of December Ano Dni 1710 .

and to the Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poore
of the Sd Parish of St. Saviour in Southwark in the
County of Surrey & whom she it doth or may concerned.
