deceased [..] is came into the said Parish endeavoureing to gaine
Setlement there without giveing Notice in Writing of the place of her Abode
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the Same Parish as by
Law is required and is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish. And
for asmuch as Oath is made before us by Mary Halton< no role >
aforesaid that the said
legall Setlement of her late Husband Joseph Halton< no role >
deseased was in the
Parish of Deptford
in the County of Kent
where us [..] severall yeares took a hired
Servant
by the yeare Served Mr. Fownes dwelling in Deptford aforesaid
are therefore in her Majesties Name to Will & require you the Officers of St
Bartholomew by Exchange
some or One of you to take passe and convey
away the said Mary Halton to the Parish of Deptford aforesaid and
deliver Her to the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poore of the Same [..]
or One of Them who are hereby likewise in her Majesties Name requires
receive and previde for Her according to law and hereof you nor accept
are to faile given under our hands & Seals this Twenty Fifthday of May
