That by virtue of a Warrant under the hands and Seales of twoe of Her Maties.
Justices of the Peace within the City of London

were brought to yor. Petrs. by the Churchwardens & Overseers of
[..] the Poore of the Parish of St. James Dukes place
London To be
Provided for upon the Oath of the Said Margery That her husbands last legall
Settlement was in yor. Petrs. Parish where her husband Lodged att the house of one Mr.
Murray in Cock Alley
on the 15th. day of November 1685 (being the day they
were Married) And for above twoe monethes after At which tyme the Said

went to Sea Whereas in truth the Said

was not
an Inhabitant in yor. Petrs. Parish by the Space of 40 dayes before May 1685. And
soe by the Law never had any legal Settlement in yor. Petrs. Said Parish
Yor Petrs. humbly Pray yor. Honor. & Worpps. to hear them in
the prmisses And Quash the Said Warrant made by the Said twoe

And send the Said Margery Radland back to the Parish
of St. James Dukes place
To be by them Provided for and
mainteyned untill They can Free themselves of the Charge
thereof by due Course of Lawe.
