This Informt. deposeth that he being acquainted wth. one Mr
Breenwood of Norfolk street
in the Strand
gent; and
haveing formerly been employed by the said Mr Breenwood
to make severall quantityes of gold and Silver late for ye
use of severall Regin abt. this informt. applyed himself to he the sd. Mr Breenwood some
time in ye month of October last, and desired he would
assist him this Informt. [..] getting ye business of makeing
& setting diverse quantityes of gold and silver late which
were then to be bought for ye as of Severall sd guinneas.
He then answered this Informt. that he could not then
employ him, but advised him to wait on our Mr Thomas

affair, and about two or three days after two or three persons
came [..] Informt. setting him they came from Mr
Breenwood who had sent them to desire this Informt to
go to the sd Mr. Pitkin for that he had some thing for him
this Informt to doe: whereupon on ye next day he went to
the Sd Mr Pitkin and not [..] finding him at home, he went [..]
times afterwards, & when he saw him ye sd. Pitkin, he ordered
this Informt. to come to his again within two ordered days
after Far that he had not then received the Patterns from
the sd Mr Breenwood (as ye sd Pitkin told this Informt) And
this Informt further deposeth, that about two or three
days after, he this Informt, dad accordingly go to the said
