Whereas Complaint hath beene made unto us Two
of his Maties Justices of the peace for the said Citty
(Quor unus) by the Church wardens and Overseeres of the
poore of the parish of St. Vedast als Foster London, That
a Female Bastard Child borne of the body of Sarah
Greenway< no role > widdow in the parish of Saviour Southwarke in
the County of Surrey was on the Fifth day of March
last past dropt & left in the said parish of St. Vedast
als Foster it being then not many dayes old, and that
the said Child was by the direccons of the said Church
Wardens & Overseeres of the poore baptized by the name of
Anne< no role > ; And is became chargeable to the said parish.

These are therefore in his Maties. name Strictly to charge
and Command You the Church Wardens and Overseeres
of the poore of the said parish of St. Vedast als Foster ,
some or one of you upon sight hereof To remove and
Convey the body of the said Female Bastard Child
see baptized Anne as aforesaid, out of Yor. said parish, [..]
unto the said parish of Saviour Southwarke , and her
deliver unto the Church Wardens & Overseeres of the
poore there, or to some or one of them who are hereby
required her to receive and provide for, untill they
shall be of her legally discharged, and for see doeing
this shall be Yor. Warrant, Given under our hands and
Seales this Third day of June Ao: Dni 1699
